An intellectual home for an acclaimed faculty of innovative researchers, academicians, and pre-eminent scholars.
The Center for Jewish Studies boasts a 25-member faculty of distinguished scholars from 12 academic departments. Our renowned faculty represents a variety of disciplines, including History, English, Hebrew, German, French, Archaeology, Classical and Near-Eastern studies, Music, Political Science, Education, American Studies, and Women’s Studies.
We are also a center of study for our faculty—who themselves are both teachers and students—as they explore important questions about Jewish history and culture, from antiquity to the modern age.
